You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to build scalable, secure, and automated systems that enable rapid software delivery across the organization.The ideal candidate has strong experience with Kubernetes, DevOps tooling, cloud infrastructure, and GitOps workflowsWhat You'll Do:Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters running in AWSImplement GitOps workflows using tools like Argo CDBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar toolsDevelop platform automation using Terraform, Helm, and scriptingInfrastructure & CloudManage AWS infrastructure including VPC, EC2, IAM, Lambda, S3 and networking componentsImplement scalable, highly available infrastructure architecturesSupport application deployment and container orchestration across environmentsSecurity & ReliabilityImplement Kubernetes security best practices including RBAC, secrets management, and policy controlsSecure and maintain Kubernetes clusters and supporting infrastructureMonitor platform health using observability tools and respond to incidentsNetworking & Platform OperationsManage Kubernetes networking, ingress controllers, and service connectivityTroubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application performance issuesOptimize cluster performance and resource utilizationPartner with development teams to improve developer experience and deployment automationProvide mentorship and technical guidance to engineersContribute to platform standards and best practices across the organizationThe Qualifications:5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering3+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environmentsExperience building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)Strong knowledge of containerization and container orchestrationExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)Understanding of Kubernetes networking, services, and ingressExperience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure in AWSStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipmentMust be able to identify, analyze and assess detailsFor certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 poundsAbility to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectivelyConstantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicableAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerWhat we offer:Competitive salary, plus bonus and long-term incentives*Early Wage Access!Unlimited PTO, paid parental leave, plus paid opportunities to give back to the community401k enrollment with CAVA contributionCompany-paid STD, LTD, Life and AD&D coverage for salaried positions*Free CAVA foodCasual work environmentThe opportunity to be on the ground floor of a rapidly growing brandAll exempt and non exempt employees are eligible for benefits.
