Packaging Technician

Adecco is currently seeking a Packaging Technician to join a local manufacturer specializing in custom plastic-fabricated equipment. This is a full-time, hands-on role in a clean manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn additional functions across quality and warehouse operations.Read and follow customer-specific packaging requirementsClean, bag, label, and package finished productsWrap and protect parts using materials such as bubble wrapAssemble boxes and crates for shipmentCreate and apply shipping/product labelsEnter shipment data into computer systemMaintain a clean and organized work areaSupport additional departments as needed, including quality and shipping/receivingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularlyAbility to stand for extended periodsBasic computer skills (Windows and Microsoft Office)Ability to read shop drawings and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)Ability to perform basic math calculationsHigh School Diploma or GED1+ yrs experience in a warehouse or manufacturing settingPrevious experience in packaging or manufacturing plastic partsExperience working in a clean or controlled environment is a plusForklift experience is a plus (not required)Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentWillingness to work overtimeStarting Pay: $18.-21/hour + depending on experience (DOE)Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. + Occasional OT Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
