Inside Sales Representative Intermediate

With approximately 1,000 employees, our unmatched expertise and team of highly qualified, certified technicians are backed by more than 70 years of industry experience.Archrock is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.Overview: Markets, sells, and processes inquiries and orders for parts received from Archrock's OEM partners.Skills and Abilities:Ability to: Effectively communicate with internal and external customers Demonstrate customer service, negotiation and sales skills Interpret and process parts inquiries and orders for price, nomenclature, and parts verification for Archrock or other packager equipment or skid mounted items Process orders, quotes, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other system transactions using an ERP system Execute guidelines for pricing, discounts, national contracts, agreements, or special pricing using understanding of cost and revenue to make decisions Coordinate with finance to determine customer credit rating Assist supply chain when orders will deplete stock or adjustments to inventory are required and initiate purchase requisitions and/or purchase orders for out of stock material Gather data and prepare various reports for management Meet with existing or potential clients concerning parts agreements, negotiations, or complaint resolutions Work with freight forwarders or carriers to provideKnowledge: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Knowledge of warranty and freight terms Understanding of cost and revenue and financial reporting (i.e. income statements and scorecard recognition)Minimum Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree preferred Valid driver license and clear driving recordMinimum Experience: Typically at least 3 years related experience. Sales and/or warehouse experience preferred Experience with an ERP system (Oracle preferred)Leadership: May serve as a resource to others with less experienceNon-Essential Duties: Performs other duties as assignedPhysical Demands: Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use a PC and to talk and hear Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds
