Upon hire, you will be required to provide documentation verifying your status as a U.S. Citizen, a lawful permanent resident, or a protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).Role: Product Design Engineer InternLocation: 2550 N First Street Suite 250, San Jose, California 95131Compensation*: RVT has both experience based and paid internship opportunities.Role Requirements:Must be a senior graduating by Summer 2027 pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering.Experience with 3D CAD, preferably PTC Creo.Ability to create 2D drawings from 3D models.Familiarity with 3D printing processes.Strong, self-motivated problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with test fixtures, fabrication, and mechanical assembly.Must be eligible to work in the United States.Responsibilities:Support development of proofs of concept and product specifications.Design test fixtures and experimental setups.Diagnose and resolve issues related to tests and fixtures.Perform hands-on teardown, assembly, and testing to validate mechanical concepts.
