Job DescriptionFamily Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (Sports Med) Allentown PAUrgently HiringWe are seeking a compassionate Internal Medicine /Family Medicine Physician who is trained in/background in Sports Medicine to join our medical practices around the Allentown area. We value our patients and truly want to listen to them and offer comprehensive care, so we schedule new patient appointments for 30-45 min blocks and follow up appointments in 30 min time frames. Our ideal Physician has tact and skill in patient management, excellent communication skills, and enjoys working as a part of a comprehensive team to offer our patients the best care possible, that they need and deserve! Will consider Physicians from a variety of backgrounds, including PM&R/Pain Management Physician, Orthopedists, Neurologist, and/or FP/IM Sports Medicine Physician. The physician will be providing coverage at our offices in the Allentown, Bethlehem, and Wilkes Barre areas. Our mission aims to benefit our employees and our communities.Job Duties:Patient care and management- initial medical consults and patient follow upRecommend tests and conducts diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and to determine appropriate treatment.Order Diagnostic labs/imaging- in house computerized neurocognitive testingOversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries, mild to moderate closed head injuries and post traumatic headachesPrepare patients for return to work after illness or injuryDocumentation - timely and accurateOrder/refer to in house therapiesCollaboration with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient careUphold the company’s mission to provide exceptional patient care and leads in a way that aligns with the company’s goalsRequirements:MD/DO from an accredited educational institutionBCBE Family Medicine/Internal med (Sports Medicine) PhysicianUnrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of PAFavorable malpractice historyBasic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificationDEA licenseSchedule: Full time No Call or Weekends!Salary:$250k per year (depending on specialty/training)Benefits:Company paid malpractice insurancePTO and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision benefitsCompany paid life insurance and long-term disability insuranceShort-term disabilityEAP401(k) retirement planPaid CME daysWe are looking for a provider who loves being a part of a team that is driven to help others.
