Drive a proactive HS culture, coach and empower Operational Leaders and Teams, and drive strategic initiatives that ensure safe, healthy, and resilient workplaces, especially in complex industrial environments.Your Impact in This RoleAs HS Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Drive the implementation of the Sibelco Global HS Program, aligning Global Standard with local realitiesPartner with Senior Leadership to embed HS strategy into business operationsInfluence, coach and mentor Operational Side Leadership and management to elevate safety ownership and accountabilityLead risk management, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiativesNavigate ambiguity, translating complex regulations into practical solutionsDrive performance through data, insights and a culture of continuous learning and safety ownershipWhat You Bring To The TableBachelor's or master's degree in engineering and occupational health & safety, industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.10+ years of relevant professional experience in Health & Safety leadership roles, preferably in an industrial or mining operational setting.MSHA certification preferredExperience working with OHSEA is appreciatedStrong knowledge of HS legislation, risk management and operational excellence preferably with experience working in larger organizationsProven ability to drive transformational change cross functions teams with ability to engage with all levels of employeesProven track record of driving HS strategy, coaching teams, and managing complex or ambiguous situations.Ability to empower people as well as implement & guide change/projectsSound communicator with ability to create buy-in from all levels within the companyProactive with the ability to work independently as well as part of a large teamFluent in EnglishAbility to travel regularly to ensure presence in each of the sitesBenefitsMedical InsurancePrescription Drug BenefitsDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceCritical Illness Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings PlanWhy Join Us?Sibelco is more than a workplace—it's a community that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
