Required Skills: MD or DO from accredited medical schoolValid state medical license in ArizonaBoard certification or eligibility in family medicine, internal medicine, or related fieldsExcellent interview and physical assessment skillsAbility to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health AssessmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with medical documentation and report submissionNice to Have Skills: Experience with veteran-related assessments or military healthcarePrior work in government or military healthcare settingsproficiency in handling Compensation & Pension (C&P) examsExperience in orthopedic surgery or musculoskeletal assessmentsPreferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institutionAt least 1-2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or related specialtyPrior experience with compensation and pension exams preferred but not mandatoryKnowledge of veterans' health requirements and certification processesOther Requirements: Candidates must reside within specified radii of assigned locations or have own office setupWillingness to work on a PRN, ongoing basis, with flexible schedulingCompletion of required training and exams, including bonus qualificationTravel expenses included in rates for local candidates; no reimbursement for additional certifications or portal trainingNo prescribing or treatment responsibilities; focus solely on interviews and assessmentsThis is an excellent chance to be part of a dedicated team supporting Veterans nationwide.
