RN ICU

The Part-Time ICU RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role requires advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond rapidly to changing patient conditions. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhearing to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatmentAdminister medications and treatments per physician ordersoperate and manage critical care equipment (e.g., ventilators, IV pumps)Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient statusCollaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staffProvide patient and family education and emotional supportMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical recordAdhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standardsDemonstrate flexibility to meet staffing needs, including weekends and holidays as required
