Food Delivery DriverThe primary function of the Meal Delivery Driver is to carry pre-prepared meals from Westside Club to various Clubs. The delivery man is responsible toThe duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Loading, conveying, and delivering meals from West Club to various Clubs per schedule in a timely mannerProfessional interaction with employeesCount and verify the food delivery order prior to leaving the kitchenAssist with maintaining truck and food dispensing equipmentDelivering the food items using BGCSLC vehicle safely and efficientlyReporting any Club concerns to the immediate supervisorCollect empty containers from ClubsMaintaining cleanliness inside and outside the BGCSLC vehicleAssist with the cleanliness of the dining room, dishes, food truck, kitchen, and other workspaces at all timesResponsible for the removal of any debris, and trash from the kitchen and cafeteriaMake sure to use proper disposal of all debris/trashLog transport details and process paperworkAssist with daily food service in the kitchen as directed by the kitchen managerSupport staff on the food truck and catering events as needed.Drive 35 ft. food truck/trailer to various sites/events as scheduledResponsible for hooking up and breaking down food trailerActively participate in mandatory Boys & Girls Club trainings and All Staff meetingsOccasionally may be required to work special events promoted by the organization during evenings and/or weekends.Completes any additional assignments as requested by the supervisor.Must submit to and pass Level 2 background screening through the Florida Department of Children & Families.High School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredValid Driver's LicenseFollow the policies, procedures, and rules of the organization.Safe DriverEffective communication skillsDetail orientedAbility to work at a fast paceAbility to juggle multiple tasks at onceSome travel may be required for training and/or other business purposes.Our offices, neighborhood clubhouses, and school-based clubs are fast-paced work environments and are strategically located in areas of St. Lucie County where youth need us most. Based on the organization's needs, flexibility to work different schedules and work in different locations in St. Lucie County is required due to changing business demands. General office conditions are the standard work environment (standing, sitting, and walking).
