Overall we are a collection of people who strive daily to “find the good and leave it better”.Job SummaryThe Project Manager – Units is responsible for the successful implementation of Unit Renovation Projects within the Residential Multi-family Unit Renovation Program. This role can be based in Los Angeles, San Francisco or Denver and requires up to 50% travel. Executes unit renovation project plans at one or more communities and assumes responsibility for activities.Executes and prioritizes project activities according to business plan, the Waterton Unit Renovation SOP, scope and specifications, timeline and budget.Responsible for identifying risks and works with CPM-U to implement appropriate solutions to keep projects on time and on budget.Identifies and addresses issues related to schedule delays, budget overages, communication breakdowns, and other problems, and escalates when necessary.Works with the Unit Renovation Coordinator and/or Service Manager to manage on-site activities with respect to inspections, contractor escorts, punch list verification, and unit acceptance.Maintains and publishes detailed and accurate records for Unit Trackers, Meeting Minutes, and other reports and documents, as required.Leads regularly scheduled meetings with site teams and contractors while maintaining a clear line of communications with all business partners regarding project details.Works with business partners to ensure overall success of the Value Add Program.Ensures appropriate contract documents have been executed prior to commencement of work.Facilitates timely and accurate payments to contractors by closely reviewing and verifying invoices per agreed upon pricing and completion status.Attends Due Diligences, as necessary, and assist CPM-U with data collection and reviews the creation of the renovation scope and project plan.Travel to sites, as necessary, to facilitate execution of planned work.What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills And ExperienceAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering or equivalent in experienceMinimum of 2 years of construction management experience with a focus on significant multi-family renovation and capital improvement projects; previous experience supervising or managing others preferredHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, and OutlookExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical and investigative skills, strong attention to detail Travel required up to 50%How We Will Recognize And Reward YouAt Waterton, we recognize that compensation and benefits are important not only to our associates but to their families as well.
