Automation Test Lead Engineer

Summary:We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Java, Selenium, and TestNG.This role involves building and maintaining test automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software delivery.Prior experience of working in the financial services industry is must.Key Responsibilities:Build robust, scalable, and high-quality automation solutions for functional and regression testing.Develop automation code and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Customize and manage test automation frameworks.Document and report test results.Work independently in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.Follow automation best practices and design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).Must-Have Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.5+ years of QA testing experience.5+ years of hands-on automation experience.Proficiency with Java, Selenium, TestNG.Strong experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors.Familiarity with automation standards and best practices.Deep understanding of automation design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model).Knowledge of software development methodologies.Experience using Bitbucket for code merge/push processes.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication (verbal and written).Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.Experience in Agile environments, with understanding of QA's role in Scrum.Nice to Have:Experience testing APIs using Postman or RestAssured.Exposure to multithreaded test execution.Ability to write QA documentation (test plans, strategies, reports).
