Diesel Mechanic
Diesel Mechanic in need for 30+ pieces of equipment throughout our four locations. Performing maintenance and repairs on trucks, forklifts, payloaders and production facility equipment.
Full time job: 5-6 day availability.
Must have clean driving history and be able to practice organization, time management, efficiency.
Specific duties will include:
Making repairs to fleet vehicles, including (but not limited to) repairing engines, suspension, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Performing routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
Inspecting/repairing brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and other vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
Scheduling maintenance service and ordering parts.
Prioritizing work orders and documenting all repairs upon completion.
Responding to road emergencies to repair vehicles as necessary.

Required Experience: As a Diesel Mechanic, you must be self-motivated and able to effectively maintain the vehicle fleet without supervision. You must also have a sense of ownership of your work and take initiative in providing preventative maintenance. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and display a positive attitude.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
High school diploma, OR GED: Technical school degree, a plus
Experience/ability to do safety inspections on trailers
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with medium to heavy duty flatbed trailers, diesel trucks (not regular automotive experience);
Good range of motion and the ability to lift 75lbs+
Clean MVR a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 56 per week
