Inserter II

Inserter position works in a newspaper manufacturing environment. The position supports the start to finish process or processes for inserting Advertising inserts into a variety of newspaper publications. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Insert level 1 duties completed successfully Jog and feed multiple inserts and place into hoppers properlyMake repairs when the hopper stops for a miss and doubleFix strap machines and reload the strapOperate pallet jacksShrink wrap the palletsStage the pallets/cages in the proper areaMove pallets/cages in and out during zones beginning until the end at stackerPhysical Requirement:Must be able to endure the rigors of a production environment. Lifting, carrying, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping and seeing operational environment activities.
