Physician Assistant (Orthopedics) - Westbury, NY (Travel required to New York City, Bronx, White Plains, Newburgh, Queens, Suffolk County, and Long Island) Job Type:Full-time (on-site) Schedule:Monday - Friday (hours may vary depending on the day and schedule) . Responsibilities: Travel with the physician to various locations (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, White Plains, Suffolk County, Manhattan).Assist the physician in the operating roomComplete disability letters/forms, C4.3 forms, and other documentation.Handle high-volume phone calls and patient inquiries.Maintain accurate patient charts using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).Work in both the clinic and OR setting, supporting patient care and procedures .Qualifications: Must have Spine OR and clinic experience.NCCPA Certification required.Spanish-speaking is a plus.NJ License preferred, but not required.Must be able to travel to different locations as required.Benefits: PTO: 27 days accrued within the first year.No on-call, weekend, or night shift requirements.Mileage reimbursement at the current state rate of $0.70 per mile, plus parking, tolls, and train passes for travel days.Additional $500 for on-call service, approximately once every six weeks, for answering emergency calls .by Jobble
