Job Description Responsibilities * manage all aspects of production of fresh pretzels at all events hosted at the Toyota Center * hire, train, manage, and schedule back-of-house and front-of-house employees necessary for efficient and adequate pretzel production from scratch at each event * be responsible for surpassing and maintaining all safe sanitation practices through food preparation processes * routine take inventory counts, calculate supply requirements and place supply orders with appropriate vendors * oversee and coordinate all distribution of products to various sales points around the arena * responsible for maintaining excellent product quality, and efficient and cost-effective products * interface and manage relationship with all customers - concessions management group, building property management group, consumers * manage with a high degree of professionalism with a focus on customer service * manage kitchen and staff with poise, intelligence and maturity in all cases * be coachable and incorporate teaching concepts to improve performance * This job entails a fairly flexible work schedule. During the busiest months, around October to March, we will host about 60 events. During the rest of the year we will host around 25-30 events. Our company is the exclusive franchisee of Ben's Soft Pretzels at this facility. We produce fresh pretzels and related items at all events hosted at this facility. We have a great track record managing operations at venues at large universities in Texas, Arkansas, and Oklahoma, and major sports arenas in Dallas, Oklahoma City, and Minneapolis. Ben's Pretzels are exceptionally good and an extremely popular food option at each of these locations. If you have great managerial qualities, enjoy fast-paced work, like to manage a staff and challenge them to perform at a high level, we would like to talk to you.
