Production Associate$16.50/hour12-hour5:00am-5:00pmQPS Employment Group is hiring Production Associates for a manufacturing company in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment with consistent hours and the opportunity for significant overtime. Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.Production Associate Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate production equipment following standard work proceduresUse tools to cut, process, and assemble componentsLoad machines and maintain production flowPack, label, and prepare finished products for shipmentInspect products for quality and defectsProduction Associate Requirements:Recent manufacturing or production experience required - Ability to read and understand safety procedures and work instructions - Strong attention to detail - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Willingness to cross-train and learn multiple roles - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 80-100 pounds with assistance - Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels - Must be willing to work up to 70 hours per week, including overtime and Saturdays as needed - Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with moving equipment and varying temperaturesIND091 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
