This role plays a vital part in patient safety by ensuring all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use.If you take pride in precision, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and enjoy leading process excellence, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.What You Will DoOversee the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and storage of medical and surgical instruments in accordance with established protocolsEnsure all instruments, trays, and equipment are accurately assembled and ready to support surgical and procedural teamsCoordinate and distribute sterile supplies across departments to meet patient care needsLead and support case cart preparation, ensuring alignment with physician preference cards and procedural requirementsMonitor and document sterilization quality indicators (biological, chemical, and mechanical) to maintain compliance and safety standardsMaintain inventory levels, receive supplies, and ensure efficient stock management within sterile processing and surgical areasOperate and maintain sterilization equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelinesChampion infection control practices and adherence to PPE and safety protocolsSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and complianceEnsure alignment with all regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standardsFoster a collaborative environment through strong communication and teamwork across clinical departmentsWhat You BringEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Sterile Processing Program preferredCertificationsSterile Processing Certification preferredExperiencePrevious sterile processing experience preferredLeadership or supervisory experience is a strong plusJ-18808-Ljbffr
