This executive-level role demands a self-directed leader with a proven track record in managing complex development workstreams, particularly in the areas of regulatory, technical, commercial, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the project's permitting strategy, regulatory and environmental approvals, interconnection strategy, and transmission coordination. Additionally, the role involves overseeing site control, land agreements, and local stakeholder engagement, as well as coordinating various advisors and supporting commercial structuring and offtake discussions. Key qualifications for this position include 10-20+ years' of power generation development experience, with a focus on large-scale gas-fired generation projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Pennsylvania market and permitting processes, as well as PJM interconnection processes. The role requires the ability to operate independently, build structure from ambiguity, and possess strong executive communication skills. The Vice President of Development will be instrumental in preparing the project for financing and EPC engagement, and must be adept at developing project execution roadmaps and risk mitigation strategies.
