They coordinatesubcontractors, enforce safety and infection control standards, resolvefield issues, and maintain clear communication with project managers,hospital staff, and inspectors. This role delivers high-qualityconstruction within sensitive environments such as hospitals, clinics,and surgical areas.Key Responsibilities **Oversee On-Site Operations:**Manage daily construction activitiesto ensure projects stay on schedule, meet specifications, and followsafety protocols. **ICRA & ILSM Compliance:**Ensure ICRA and ILSM compliance byenforcing plans, maintaining barriers, negative air and life-safetymeasures, monitoring pressure and cleanliness, coordinatinginspections, managing egress and fire-safety needs, and working withhospital safety teams. **Lead Teams & Coordinate Trades:**Collaborate with projectmanagers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep work flowingsmoothly and efficiently. **Communicate with Stakeholders:**Maintain strong relationships withowners and partners by providing timely, clear updates on progressand expectations. **Ensure Quality & Safety:**Uphold top-tier quality standards andenforce safety procedures through regular inspections and meetings. **Manage Schedules & Budgets:**Develop, track, and adjust schedulesand costs to keep projects on time and within budget. **Document & Problem Solve:**Keep accurate daily records and tackleissues head-on to keep the jobsite running without delays.Requirements**Required Education and Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent. 7+ years of experience working as a Superintendent in theconstruction industry. 7+ years of supervisory experience. Proven leadership experience on medical projects (clinics, hospitalexpansions & renovations, ORs, community health centers,diagnostic/imaging centers, etc.)Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of and ability to follow OSHA protocols, as well as theability to learn and follow Hutton safety protocols. Commercial construction experience, preferably with ground-up buildsand medical projects. Ability to work on existing facilities (Hospital remodels while inoperation) Occupied patient-care areas. Knowledge of building codes, design, site control, inspectionprocedures, and scheduling. Proficiency with technology including tablets, email, andconstruction software. OSHA 30 certification required or must be obtained within a set timeafter hire. ASHE ICRA 2.0 Certification required or must be obtained within aset time after hire. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Possess a valid unrestricted Drivers License.Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Experience with the following software: Bluebeam, Microsoft OfficeSuite and project management software, such as Asta or MicrosoftProject. CPR/First-Aid certification.Work Environment Ability to work out of town multiple days per week for multiplemonths as needed. Work in severe elements including extreme heat or cold. Walk on uneven surfaces frequently.Physical Requirements Ability to do the following, with or without reasonableAccommodation Lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.occasionally.
