This role involves working on commercial projects with private companies as well as bridge and transportation-related projects with state and local governments. We're looking for a candidate with strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to support our team in delivering high-quality solutions to clients. This position will collaborate with structural team members across the organization.This is a Direct Hire role.What you will be doing as a Structural Engineer...Perform structural design and detailing for bridges, buildings, and treatment plant structuresCollaborate with teams on the planning, design, and construction of structural projects, with opportunities to lead project teams in the futureCommunicate with clients through verbal and written correspondenceEnsure projects are completed on time and within budgetConduct periodic on-site construction observationSkills you ideally bring to the table as a Structural Engineer...Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural EngineeringMinimum of 5 years of structural engineering experienceIllinois PE license or the ability to obtain one within 12 monthsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) projectsKnowledge of AASHTO LRFD bridge design codeMaster's degree in Structural EngineeringExperience with hydraulic design for bridges and roadway designProficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD is a plusLearn more about Saige Partners on Facebook or LinkedIn.Compensation you will receive as a Structural Engineer:Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageShort- and Long-Term Disability, plus additional supplemental insurancesClothing allowance401(k) with company matchProfit sharingPaid time off and 9 paid holidaysPaid training and development opportunities, both on-site and off-site
