If you're a CPA with a passion for process optimization and a desire to make a tangible impact, we want you on our team.ResponsibilitiesMaster the Close: Take full ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting for our investment funds and joint ventures.Lead & Develop Your Team: Inspire, mentor, and elevate a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Drive Process Innovation: Don't just follow procedures—reimagine them. You'll evaluate our current systems and implement smart, scalable optimizations that meet Havenpark's unique industry needs.Be the Expert: Serve as the go-to authority on GAAP compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting, ensuring our practices are not just met, but exceeded.Champion Audits & Partnerships: Build strong, collaborative relationships with external auditors, tax preparers, and asset managers, ensuring smooth and successful audits.QualificationsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's a plus) is required, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a must.The Experience: 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience. Your background in real estate (commercial, multi-family, hospitality, or manufactured housing) will set you up for success, and familiarity with joint ventures or private equity is a huge plus.The Technical Edge: You're a pro with Microsoft Office Suite.
