Pharmacist Position at Chatuge Regional HospitalWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Chatuge Regional Hospital (CRH). As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care. Your main goal will be to improve patient outcomes and ensure patient safety.Minimum Qualifications:Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacyActive pharmacist license in the state of GeorgiaStrong knowledge of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamicsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications:Residency training in pharmacy practice or a related fieldBoard certification in a pharmacy specialtyExperience in hospital pharmacy practiceExperience with pharmacy benefit management (PBM) programsImmunization certificationResponsibilities:Dispensing medications accurately and efficientlyReviewing medication orders for accuracy and appropriatenessMonitoring patient medication therapy for effectiveness and adverse effectsProviding drug information to healthcare professionals and patientsCollaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement medication therapy plansSkills:As a Pharmacist at CRH, you will utilize your skills in pharmacoeconomics, medication therapy management, hospital pharmacy, clinical pharmacy, retail pharmacy, pharmacy benefit management, immunization, patient counseling, and manual dexterity on a daily basis. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in providing optimal pharmaceutical care.
