2ND SHIFT WAREHOUSE SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK - IL
Job Summary:The Warehouse Office Clerk will provide direct support to the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisors and warehouse operations with shipping and receiving responsibilities. Responsible for performing the clerical and administrative functions for shipping and receiving areas, while providing excellent quality assurance and customer service.Supervisory Responsibilities:None Duties/Responsibilities:Hands-on involvement in all aspects of warehouse office administrationProvides clerical support to various management and operations functions, including but not limited to filing, faxing, scanning and emailingServes as the frontline customer service to receive, solve and/or escalate customer inquiries and issuesPrioritizes workflow to maximize the number of shipments that can be resolved and sent out for delivery in the same dayMonitor and oversee shipping and receiving documentation of inbound and outbound shipmentsMaintain, review and complete paperwork required for the shipping/receiving processAnalyze, retrieve, and evaluate information Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughlyAbility to communicate effectively with others using the spoken wordAbility to work successfully with a diverse population; internally and externally, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or positionAbility to act calmly under stress and strain, and not be hastyMust be dependable and trustworthy, ethical, honest and have integrityMust be organized, having the ability to follow a systematic method of performing a taskExercise a high level of independent judgement, organizational ability and initiative Other dutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
