Senior Tableau Developer (San Francisco)

We are looking for a skilled Senior Tableau Developer to transform complex data into clear, visually compelling insights that drive impactful, data-driven decisions. This role requires extensive experience with Tableau (including Tableau Desktop and Tableau Online), along with a strong understanding of cloud data warehousing tools like Snowflake. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, create reports, develop dashboards, and support end-users with training and documentation.Responsibilities:Primary responsibility will be to develop executive level dashboards in Tableau.Report development using SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence.Excellent visualization skills with ability to convey customer data in an intuitive and visually compelling manner.Familiarity with best practices around data visualization and willingness to mentor and share knowledge with other team members.Ability to interact with data warehouse back end, including star and snow flake schemas.Employ strong MS SQL skills for analysis, validation, and verification of data.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) .7+ years' experience in Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing initiatives.Tableau Developer who also has hands-on SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence and MS SQL experience.Hands-on experience of dashboard design using Tableau; mastery in all aspects of dashboard development related initiatives required.Hands-on SAP Business Objects required, specifically Web Intelligence report development.Expert in MS SQL experience required.Cloud based Infrastructure experience a plus, preferably AWS Demonstrated ability to articulate BI design concepts to a variety of audiences including software engineers, managers, and clients.Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation; must be able to work collaboratively with users and in-house technical staff.Proven experience with complex business and technical analysis.Proven capability to quickly grasp new processes and technologies. Proven performance in a highly inter-dependent team environment.Proven performance working independently.Verifiable references for satisfactory work performance. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.Experience in the banking industry a plus.Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology a plus.
