INTERVENTION SPECIALIST

The Ashtabula County ESC is seeking certified Intervention Specialists for the upcoming 2026-2027 School year to serve in our Ashtabula County Happy Hearts, Autism and ED Classrooms.Reports to: Special Education Supervisor, PrincipalContract Length: 184 DaysCompensation: As per ACESC Salary ScheduleRequired Qualifications:Teaching certification as an Intervention Specialist K-12Successful BCII/FBI background checksAbility to develop and implement Individual Education PlansAbility to develop and implement Behavior Support PlansProficient technology skills Preferred Qualifications:Experience in teaching special education studentsProject and inquiry-based instruction and pedagogyPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, push, lift, bend and twist at the neck more than the average person.
