Maintenance TechnicianAllegiant Manufacturing, a one stop source for metal working solutions including stamping, fabrication, value-added assembly, tooling & machining, located in Kansas City, KS has an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician.We are committed to providing our employees with strong benefits and a healthy work-life balance.Competitive Benefits Begin Quickly Medical, dental, and vision benefits go into effect after 60 days of employment.Day-One Benefits Employees are eligible for holiday pay and our 401(k) retirement plan starting on their first day.Work-Life Balance We operate on a four-day workweek, with 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday, giving employees a consistent three-day weekend every week.Allegiant Manufacturing values its team members and strives to create a safe, rewarding, stable, and employee-focused workplace.SUMMARY: Repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery mechanical equipment and facilities, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, air compressors, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintenance in or within the same industry is beneficialFollows all safety rules, regulations, laws and procedures regarding any and all aspects of the job, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and othersFollows all preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using measuring instruments.Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices, using hand tools.Starts devices to test their performance.Lubricates and cleans parts.Operates any equipment needed to perform job.Able to troubleshoot maintenance problems using PLC programs,Basic Knowledge of Robotic Operations,Able to read Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic schematics.Performs related duties as assigned by ManagerMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and demonstrate the ability to speak and read English.Employees must supply their own hand tools.Knowledge of and experience working with PM software is preferred.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
