Member Experience Representative - Part-Time

DescriptionThe Member Experience Representative will assist members and non-members of the credit union with various administrative and financial transactions, and will be responsible for processing routine banking transactions and recommending products and services based on the member’s financial goals.Role And ResponsibilitiesGreet members in a professional and courteous manner and assist them with all issues, questions and requests.Process member transactions, including; deposits, withdrawals, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and loan payments in person, by telephone or mail.Balance and verifies transactions and cash totals on a daily basisMaintains a thorough working knowledge of the complete line of products and services and offers appropriate products and services to members and potential members.Opens and closes computer terminal accounts dailyExamines documents for endorsement and negotiability. Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.Other duties as assigned. RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.1+ years’ cash handling experience. Prior banking/credit union experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesExcellent mathematical and problem solving skills.Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to operate 10-key series.Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a consistently changing environment.Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentStationary work, often requiring standing or sitting for prolonged periodsOperate standard office equipment and keyboardsVisually recognize, reconcile, and verify numerical details for accuracyRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingersMust be able to access and navigate facility with reasonable accommodationsLift and carry small parcels, packages and other itemsAdditional NotesCandidates being considered for employment with Resource One must successfully complete a credit check, background check and drug screen.This Job Description is not a complete statement of all duties, responsibilities and physical demands comprising this position.Schedule for this position is Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
