DescriptionThis is a 2nd shift position: Mon-Fri 4:45 pm - 1:15 amPosition Summary: The Industrial Painter / Assembler will be responsible for painting industrial equipment, using enamel and epoxy material as well as assemble equipment according to specifications and drawings.Duties / ResponsibilitiesPainting industrial equipment, using enamel and epoxy materialSandblastingAssembles machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, fan assemblies, motors, pumps, piping, mount conduit, pull wire, and more according to directions.Read blueprints schematics, and build to those specificationsUses various machines, forklifts, overhead cranes and hand/power tools to accomplish assigned tasksPerforms other related duties as assignedEssential Skills And Experience Minimum 3-5 years’ experience painting industrial equipment Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics Properly maintain and perform basic repairs on equipment Basic ability in measuring equipment, reading, or writing Ability to weld is a plusEducation And Experience High school diploma or equivalent requiredPhysical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and performing tasks Must be able to lift up to 20-30 pounds Must have manual dexterity to assemble products and machines Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components
