Mechanic
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automotive and heavy equipment repair, with a strong background in diagnosing and maintaining various machinery and vehicles. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The Mechanic will work in a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced tools and technical knowledge to support our operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair small engine , industrial equipment including cranes, forklifts, bobcats, etc.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, shocks & struts, suspension, and wheel alignments
Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, soldering, and hand tools
Operate power tools safely to disassemble or assemble machinery during repairs or maintenance procedures
Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Skills
Knowledge of mechanical repair procedures
Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment
Experience working with farm machinery and industrial equipment is a plus
Mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
