Accounting Consultant

We are actively seeking a highly versatile Accounting Consultant to join our team in a full-time capacity, supporting a wide range of client engagements across industries, systems, and complex accounting environments.This is an opportunity to work on impactful projects while enjoying the stability of full-time employment — including pay for every hour worked and paid bench time between engagements.What You’ll Be Doing:Support clients across month-end close, technical accounting, and financial reportingLead and contribute to system implementations and optimizationsProvide guidance on ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)Assist with M&A activity, including:ASC 805 / Purchase AccountingOpening balance sheet preparationGL mapping and integrationPartner with leadership teams in public and PE-backed environmentsWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in public accounting and/or consulting environmentsStrong exposure to technical accounting and transaction-based workHands-on experience with large ERP systems such as:NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle FusionFamiliarity with reporting and automation tools:OneStream, Power BI, BlackLineAbility to adapt quickly across industries, clients, and systemsLocation & Flexibility:Hybrid (Greater Tampa area, based on your location)Opportunities for fully remote engagements depending on project needsWhy Join Us:Full-time stability with consulting-level exposurePaid for every hour worked (no exceptions)Paid bench time between projectsHigh-impact, resume-building engagements across industries
