Clinical Pharmacist
Overview: To provide and support pharmaceutical care including medication dispensing, preventing, identifying and resolving drug related problems, promoting optimal therapeutics and medication education.The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.To participate in the performance improvement, academic programs and clinical research activities of the department.To serve as a liaison to the medical and nursing staff.Qualifications: Required Education: Bachelors degree in Pharmacy -OR- Pharm D.degree (Doctor of Pharmacy) Preferred Education: Post-graduate residency training Necessary Skills: Attention to detail and ability to distinguish drug products.Fine motor coordination and manual dexterity.Computer skills and accuracy in calculations.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Supervision of technician employees. xevrcycRequired Licensure/Certifications: Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida -OR- Eligible for Pharmacist license in the State of Florida within 90 days of the date of hire/transfer Required Experience: Less than one year pharmacist/intern experience Preferred Experience: Experience and/or advanced training in specific practice area.
