Accounts Receivable (AR) & Medical Billing Specialist

We are a fast-growing US healthcare billing company providing full-service Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) support to medical practices across the United States. Our team works with multi-specialty providers, including Ophthalmology, Optometry, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, and more.We are looking for a detail-oriented, energetic, and experienced AR & Billing Specialist to join our RCM operations team.Location: Remote – Applicants must reside within the United StatesJob ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day billing and AR activities, including:Accounts Receivable & Denial ManagementPerform AR follow-up with insurance companies and patients to resolve outstanding claims.Work denials by analyzing ERA/EOB, identifying root causes, and submitting appropriate appeals.Handle rejections (EDI issues, coding errors, eligibility failures) and correct claims for resubmission.Reduce Days in AR and improve monthly collection ratios.Required Skills & Experience2–4 years of US Medical Billing / AR experience (required).Strong understanding of RCM workflows, insurance rules, and payer guidelines.Experience in at least one specialty:Ophthalmology / Optometry (OfficeMate)Cardiology (Greenway Intergy)Mental Health / Psychiatry (eCW)Knowledge of ERA/EDI handling and denial resolution.Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.Experience with clearinghouses (Availity, Office Ally, Trizetto, etc.)Important Note (Read Before Applying)🔹 This is a remote opportunity available only for candidates who currently reside in the United States.🔹 Applications from outside the US will not be considered.
