Remote Internship | October 9 - December 20Hoop Brothers is a basketball video production company. Our mission it to maximize our network and expertise in video production as a resource to players, coaches, and organizations to educate, build, and create more exposure around their brands.We are looking for a results-driven, motivated, and energetic Social Media and Marketing Intern who is looking for an opportunity to grow and learn. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door in the sports industry while also contributing to Hoop Brothers’ next phase of expansion.We believe this role offers more leadership opportunities than any other internship you’ll find. You’ll be empowered to make decisions around social media trends, marketing strategies, and those that have a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of digital marketing will advance your existing skill sets.The Social Media & Marketing Intern will help to execute the day-to-day operations that will help progress our overall Social Media/Marketing goals. There are 3 unique roles that you may fill as a Social Media/Marketing Intern:1. Social Media Admin Intern:Responsibilities:Creating and curating content for social mediaDeveloping and implementing a social media posting calendarEngaging with followers through comments and messages to drive interactionMonitoring and researching trends/analytics to optimize strategyCollaborating with other team members2. Analytics Social Media Intern:Responsibilities:Monitoring and analyzing social media metrics, engagement rates, reach, and followersGenerating regular reports and highlighting areas of success and returnCollaborating with the social media department for analysis strategyRecommending strategies and tactics for social media optimization3. Social Media Brand Ambassador:Responsibilities:Representing the company in live broadcasts, interviews, and other public eventsBuilding and nurturing relationships with other influencers and collaboratorsCreating engaging contentCollaborating with the social media department for marketing objectivesSpecific Skills:Exceptional interpersonal skills and charisma to engage and captivate audiences4. Social Media Strategist:Responsibilities:Ideating, planning, and producing videos and graphicsEnsuring content is optimized for SEO and social media algorithmsConducting research to stay informed of trendsCollaborating with the social media department to execute strategiesAnalyzing performance metricsSpecific Skills:Strong creative thinking and storytelling abilitiesProficient in SEO best practicesSkilled in multitasking and managing multiple projects while meeting deadlinesOur Social Media and Marketing Intern will have a community first mindset with the skills to grow and expand our community. Knowledge and love of the game of Basketball are a must! We expect our Social Media Content Creation Intern to be motivated and comfortable to consistently complete and improve our strategies, and is excited about participating in training and professional development opportunities. College credit available. Adjusted start and end dates are available for special cases. 15 hours per week (flexible scheduling). The internship is ran on a project by project base with specific projects assigned, deadlines to finalize but flexibility on when you contribute to these projects as long as deadlines are met. Perfect schedule flexibility for students or anyone juggling multiple responsibilities outside of this internship.Employment Type:Remote Internship
