CNC Router Operator
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team! If you have experience with Hypertherm XPR300 CNC plasma, MultiCam Pro router, and MultiCam 5000 router and a passion for precision machining, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure the efficient production of high-quality components.
What You’ll Do:
Operate CNC Machines – Run the Hypertherm XPR300 CNC plasma, MultiCam Pro router, and MultiCam 5000 router with precision and efficiency.
Develop CNC Programs – Create, edit, and optimize programs for cutting, routing, and machining various materials.
Read & Interpret Blueprints – Understand technical drawings, CAD files, and GD&T requirements to ensure accuracy in production.
Set Up and Calibrate Machines – Configure tooling, adjust cutting parameters, and ensure proper machine calibration.
Material Selection & Processing – Work with metals, woods, plastics, and composites based on production requirements.
Precision Measurement & Quality Control – Use calipers, bore gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
Troubleshoot & Maintain Machines – Identify and resolve issues related to machine performance, tooling wear, and cutting quality.
Enhance Process Efficiency – Work with engineering and production teams to improve machining techniques and reduce cycle times.
Ensure Safety & Compliance – Follow all safety guidelines for CNC operations, material handling, and machine maintenance.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience operating and programming MultiCam Pro, MultiCam 5000 routers, and Hypertherm XPR300 plasma cutters.
5+ years of CNC machining experience, including routers, plasma, mills, and other precision cutting equipment.
Strong understanding of G-code and CAD/CAM software for efficient programming.
Knowledge of tooling, feeds, and speeds for different materials.
Experience with automatic tool changers, vacuum tables, and material hold-down systems.
Familiarity with woodworking and metal fabrication is a plus.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to meet production deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machine and programming issues.
Excellent attention to detail to maintain the highest quality standards.
Work Schedule:
Day Shift Only – Four 10-hour shifts: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Occasional Friday overtime (never past 4:30 PM).
No weekends or holidays!
