Medix is currently seeking a dedicated clinician for a travel opening at our client's facility. Responsibilities: Conduct utilization and quality management activities in accordance with organizational policies. Perform telephonic reviews for inpatient and outpatient services using standard clinical tools. Determine medical necessity of services by communicating with physician providers. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for high-utilizing or at-risk members. Support continuity of care through early discharge planning. Requirements Master's Degree required. Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health (SMI & SUD) experience. Familiarity with Integrated Collaborative Care Model and clinical review tools (InterQual, LOCADTR).
