Job DescriptionCredit Associate ILocation: Gratz, PASchedule: Day Shift | Monday–FridayCompensation: $19.00–$24.00 per hourPosition SummaryThe Credit Associate I supports the Credit and Collections function by evaluating customer creditworthiness, monitoring accounts receivable, and assisting with the timely collection of outstanding balances. This role works closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure accurate account management while helping minimize financial risk to the organization.This position is well suited for someone early in their finance or accounting career who is detail‑oriented, organized, and interested in gaining hands‑on experience in credit, collections, and accounts receivable.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and process new credit applications, ensuring all required information is complete and accuratePerform basic credit analysis using established guidelines and toolsSet up and maintain customer accounts within the systemMonitor accounts receivable and identify past‑due balancesConduct collection outreach via phone and email to resolve outstanding balances in a professional mannerDocument all collection activities and customer communications thoroughlyAssist with resolving billing discrepancies and disputes in collaboration with internal teamsSupport credit limit reviews and updates based on payment history and risk evaluationEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulationsProvide general administrative and clerical support to the Credit and Finance teamsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred1+ years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or a finance‑related roleBasic understanding of credit principles and financial conceptsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; ERP system experience is a plusKey CompetenciesAnalytical and critical‑thinking skillsCustomer service and relationship‑building mindsetProblem‑solving abilityEffective time management and prioritizationIntegrity, professionalism, and accountabilityWhat We OfferOur benefits package includes coverage of your health, wealth, and wellness for you and your eligible spouse/dependents.
