Job Title : Technical Project ManagerEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Location: 209 Harding Blvd. Suite 1, Roseville, CA 95678, Remote/HybridSalary Range: $115K-135KBenefits: Company Sponsored Health, Dental, & Life Insurance. 401(k) plus matching, PTO, Sick LeavePosition Summary:At Phase X, the Technical Project Manager (PM) will work closely with Project Leads and Operations team under Company’s leadership. The PM will own the project and proposal management process from receipt of Client RFP Bid/RFQ request to project delivery and execution.The PM will function and collaborate with technical lead engineers and designers throughout project execution primarily in the fields of substations, transmission lines, OH & UG distribution facilities, microgrids, renewables, and heavy industrial projects. This person will be responsible for developing technical proposals, project execution plan, scopes, engineering estimates, schedules, bid submission, client coordination and satisfaction. The PM will also serve as the primary point-of-contact for clients and subcontractors to lead core project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, risk and change management, opportunity assessment, and forecasting, internal coordination with Lead engineers and executive leadership team.Ultimately, a successful Technical Project Manager will provide excellent customer service, project & team leadership to create successful long-term business partnerships.About Phase X Engineering: Phase X Engineering was established to deliver high-quality designs focusing on precision and technical excellence. Our core values are the backbone of our business and guide our hiring process: We are innovative, excellent, responsible, committed and results oriented.Performance Objectives:Manage and lead projects and proposals throughout the entire life cycle.Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budgetLead project QA/QC process per PhX QMS requirement with a commitment to delivering engineering services and work products that exceed client quality expectationsPrepare, coordinate, and manage end-to-end proposals and tender submissions and solutions in accordance with customer requirements and bid processesSupport bid clarification sessions, demonstrations, and customer technical evaluations where requiredProvide project updates, conduct weekly meetings and communicate to various project stakeholders on a consistent basisWork with Technical and Executive leadership team to identify and analyze project risks and develop and implement risk mitigation strategiesCommunicate and coordinates projects and proposals activities and engagements, including interactions with clients and internal and external design team, and subcontractorsCapabilities / Key Competencies:Self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills or potential.Understanding of project or proposal management principles.Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Experience coordinating and communicating with Clients, Subcontractors, Multidisciplinary Leads and Project Managers.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or Electrical Engineering.5+ years’ Project Management experience for an electrical design firm specializing in high voltage substation and/or T&D.Proficient in project scheduling, resource planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, change managementPrevious Proposal development experience (strongly preferred)Proficiency in MS Office Software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ProjectCommitment to Diversity: As an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce, Phase X Engineering recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
