This contract position offers an opportunity for certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services within schools located in the Los Angeles area. The engagement runs from August 12, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour days. Assignments may vary between single-site and itinerant roles, providing flexibility and diverse professional experiences.Key Responsibilities:Serve caseloads of approximately 50-60 students, covering a range of age groups within the K-12 school setting.Deliver speech-language pathology services in accordance with individualized education plans and school district requirements.Participate in bi-weekly training cohorts facilitated by the school district, with start dates aligned to either the beginning or middle of the month.Utilize assessment materials, with reimbursement available up to $2,500 for required tools.Qualifications and Experience:Hold an active California Speech-Language Pathologist license and an SLP teaching credential.Possess a master's degree in speech-language pathology.Candidates with 0-10+ years of school-based experience are encouraged to apply; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are considered if supervision arrangements can be secured.Commitment to working on-site within the Los Angeles Unified School District.No SLPA candidates will be considered for this position.Benefits:Engage in a supportive and dynamic educational environment with professional development opportunities.Reimbursement for assessment materials to support clinical practice.Structured training cohorts to enhance skills and collaboration.Work Location:On-site placement within various schools across the Los Angeles Unified School District area.This role is ideal for dedicated school-based SLPs seeking a contract position in a vibrant urban district.
