Senior Platform Engineer (Go/python, AL ML) Experience: 10 + yrs Location: Denver, CO - Remote Role :- C2C Job Description: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Platform Engineer for a high-impact contract role. You will be responsible for building and maintaining the backbone of our external-facing Tier 1 services. This role demands a unique blend of distributed systems reliability and modern AI/ML implementation. We are looking for a "force multiplier"—someone who leverages the latest AI developer tools to deliver high-quality code at an accelerated pace. Key Responsibilities Systems Reliability: Own the lifecycle of external-facing Tier 1 services, ensuring high availability and low latency. Platform Evolution: Scale core infrastructure and API Gateway systems to support growing AI/ML workloads. Accelerated Delivery: Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, LLM-based refactoring) to maintain high velocity without sacrificing code quality or security. Rapid Adaptation: Pivot quickly as product priorities shift while maintaining strict delivery timelines. Required Qualifications Experience: 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 3+ years in Platform/Infrastructure. AI/ML Domain: 2+ years of hands-on experience in the AI/ML space (e.g., LLM orchestration, model deployment, inferencing stack). Technical Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Go and/or Python. Modern Workflow: Proficiency with the latest AI developer tools. You should have a proven workflow for using AI to speed up documentation, testing, and boilerplate generation. Service Ownership: Experience operating Tier 1, external-facing services with high availability requirements. Reliability: Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and deliver on time. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) API Infrastructure: Prior experience building, scaling, or maintaining API Gateway systems. Strongly Preferred if you have experience building model routers or products for developer (SDKs etc)
