Location: Melbourne, FL (Onsite)Experience: 8–20 Year🏢 Industry: Aerospace & DefenseAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Hardware/Electrical Engineer with expertise in DO-254 compliant hardware development for safety-critical aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hardware design, verification, validation, and certification within an aerospace or defense environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and validate complex digital and mixed-signal hardware.Execute hardware development in compliance with DO-254 standards.Perform schematic design, hardware integration, debugging, and board bring-up.Support requirements capture, design documentation, and verification activities.Participate in hardware testing, validation, and system integration.Collaborate with cross-functional software, FPGA, systems, and verification teams.Support design reviews and certification activities.Required SkillsStrong experience in DO-254 hardware development.Digital and mixed-signal circuit design.Schematic capture and PCB hardware design.Hardware verification and validation.Board bring-up, debugging, and lab testing.Requirements management and technical documentation.Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Lab Equipment.Hardware integration and troubleshooting.Aerospace or Defense hardware development experience.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred SkillsFPGA Hardware Integration.VHDL or Verilog exposure.Xilinx or Intel/Altera FPGA platforms.High-speed digital interfaces.Embedded hardware development.MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810, ARINC standards.Power Electronics.Analog & Digital Circuit Design.EMI/EMC testing.System integration and qualification testing.Work AuthorizationAny valid US work authorization is accepted, including:H1BGreen Card (GC)US Citizen (USC)H4 EADTN Visa (Canadian)L2 EADCPTOPT EAD📩 Interested candidates, please share your updated resume along with:Current LocationVisa / Work AuthorizationCurrent Salary / Hourly RateExpected Salary / Hourly RateNotice Period / AvailabilityYears of DO-254 ExperienceYears of Aerospace Hardware Design Experience
