up to 90 lbs. occasionally)Operate forklifts when required to assist with warehouse operationsUse proper lifting techniques and material handling equipmentEnsure materials are delivered without damageWork collaboratively with warehouse teams during loading operationsCoordinate with receiving personnel at customer locationsEquipment Care & ComplianceVehicle Maintenance & Inspection:Conduct post-trip inspections and report findingsComplete required DOT inspection reports and documentationCheck fluid levels, tire pressure, lights, brakes, and safety equipmentReport on mechanical issues or equipment malfunctions immediatelyMaintain cleanliness of cab and truck exteriorEnsure all required documentation is current (registration, insurance, permits)Perform comprehensive pre-trip inspections dailyRegulatory ComplianceDocumentation & Record-Keeping:Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with DOT regulationsDocument proof of delivery and customer signaturesRecord mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance activitiesSubmit required reports to dispatch and managementMaintain electronic logging device (ELD) recordsMaintaining ExcellenceSafety & Professionalism:Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and glovesFollow all safety rules and procedures as outlined in the company manualParticipate in regular safety meetings and training sessionsReport safety hazards, incidents, or near-misses immediatelyAlways maintain a professional appearance and demeanorProvide exceptional customer service as the face of ParksiteWork safely in various environments, including hot, cold, and inclement weather conditionsGeneral Responsibilities:Follow instructions from the Operations Manager and dispatch coordinatorsWork collaboratively with warehouse and office teams to meet delivery schedulesPerform other duties assigned to support overall logistics operationsMaintain a positive, customer-focused attitudeAct in accordance with policies set forth in the company procedures manualWhat You BringRequired Qualifications:Valid CDL Class A license (current and in good standing)Minimum 3 years of professional commercial driving experienceSatisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations, as defined by company and DOT standardsPossession of a valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT medical card), obtained independently by the applicant in accordance with FMCSA requirementsEssential SkillsBasic math skills: ability to calculate distances, fuel consumption, and delivery schedulesAbility to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, bills of lading, route maps, and DOT regulations (basic English proficiency required)Excellent time management and organizational abilitiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to safetyAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionProfessional communication skills with customers and team membersReliable, punctual, and committed to workplace safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to regularly lift and move materials up to 50 lbs., and occasionally up to 90 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation, consistent with DOT requirementsComfortable working in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, snow, rain, outdoor elements)Able to sit for extended periods while drivingCapable of frequent holding, grasping, pushing, and pulling during loading/unloading operationsAbility to climb into and out of truck cab and onto flatbed as neededExposure to bright lights, noise, and temperature extremesPre-Employment RequirementsAbility to pass DOT-regulated drug and alcohol screening, background check, and employment verification in accordance with applicable lawAuthorization to work in the United StatesPreferred Qualifications:The following experience is a plus but not required - we're willing to train motivated candidates!Flatbed trucking experience with building materialsForklift operation experienceLumber or building product industry experienceExperience with side-curtain flatbed trailersTarping and load protection experienceKnowledge of the Eastern United States delivery territoryExperience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)Previous experience in a distribution or logistics environmentHazmat EndorsementWork EnvironmentThis position is in a warehouse distribution center with the following conditions:Physical Demands & Work Environment:Frequent use of hands and feet for grasping, lifting, securing loads, and operating equipment controlsRegular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.;
