Join a hospital in Chicago, IL as a Cath Lab Tech (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and contribute to a high-acuity, teaching hospital with Level 1 trauma, comprehensive stroke services, and a Magnet designation. Work with advanced imaging and hemodynamic equipment while assisting physicians and cath lab staff during diagnostic and interventional procedures.Minimum QualificationsARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).Minimum 2 years' Cath Lab experience in a hospital setting.Tech-specific required certification: ARRT required; RCIS from CCI preferred but ARRT acceptable. RCIS alone is not sufficient.Experience with diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures including LHC/RHC, NSTEMI/STEMI care, Impella, IABP, Rotoblator, CTOs/staged PCI, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and EP procedures such as pacemaker and AICD cases preferred.Experience with equipment and modalities such as IVUS, FFR, EKOS, medrad, Phillips hemodynamics, PACS, and c-arm imaging preferred.State-specific licensure when required.Preferred QualificationsExperience with laser lead extraction, Rotoblator, Impella and IABP management, and pacemaker/ICD procedures.Skills in groin site management, scrub and pan table setup, and moderate sedation support.Familiarity with Epic EMR and unit technologies such as Alaris pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing.Assignment DetailsShift hours: 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.40 hours per week.On-call requirement for RNs and Techs.
