Physical Therapist Assistant

SCV Therapy Services is a busy physical therapy clinic. We are looking for a physical therapist assistant who will provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Job duties include performing therapeutic procedures by administrating manual exercises, instructing, encouraging and assisting patients in performing physical activities such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities and daily living activities ; and using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes and prostheses. Skills you must possess are physiological knowledge, creating and maintaining a safe and effective environment, organization, bedside manner, documentation skills, and working in a fast pace and busy clinic. Must hold a valid PTA license for the State of California. One year experience as a licensed PTA in an outpatient clinic preferred.
