Computer Systems Engineer

We are seeking a *Computer Systems Engineer/Architect *for our client *Dhara Consulting Group*, this is a direct hire with full benefits and 401(k). Candidate must hold an *Active Secret* clearance, must be local to MD, DC, VA. Flexible Work allowable but must be able to report on-site in *Quantico, Virginia* as needed. *Job Requirements* * As technical expert with critical decision-making responsibility to see that requirements are met. * Provides engineering support to the full range of NISS release management actions to include oversight of successful development and rollout of application releases into production and when required, reporting failed releases and providing after action reports (AAR), IAW DCSA and DoD policies and procedures and commonly utilized industry best practices. * Builds platforms and infrastructure needed to support automation of application development and release. * Supports implementation and improvement of the infrastructure with DEVSECOPS automation in IT service capacity and demand management. * Collaborates with customers and team members as part of an Agile lifecycle to gather, understand, and refine platform and application requirements. * Follows DevSecOps best practices for full security integration, infrastructure as code, operational visibility, and site reliability engineering practices to create scalable and highly reliable systems. * Supports coordination of the content and schedule of rollout plans, testing plans, and all other documentation pertinent to a release. * Provides critical review of all the release and change collaterals, and supports review and validation of transition phase deliverables and procedures, testing of software and/or hardware, and completion of knowledge transfer between teams. * Supports PRR and PRR Checklist (DEL 124) completion. Supports creation, maintenance, and publishing of release deployment plans and calendars. * Supports risk assessment and management in relation to release and change deployment, including the development of cutover and roll back plans. *Clearance Requirements:* * Candidate must hold an ACTIVE Secret Clearance or Above Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) matching Schedule: * 8 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: * Quantico, VA 22134: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: * Bachelor's (Required) Experience: * DevSecOps: 5 years (Required) Security clearance: * Secret (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Quantico, VA 22134
