Field Service Resource Planner
Summary/ObjectiveSole contact for the Service Team and Team Leaders to track and coordinate all resource scheduling. Makeindependent decisions within defined areas of responsibility. Provides the means to improve the efficiency of maintenance resources and lower maintenance costs.Brings off-target key performance indicators (KPIs) back into acceptable ranges. Ability to identify errors and plan corrective methods.Essential Functions1. Ensures all accepted jobs are reviewed, prioritized, and have a detailed work plan consisting of the required manpower, duration, safety procedures, tools, materials, equipment, and specifications.2. Creates and maintains equipment files with standard job packages, ensuring techs receive detailed scope of work and specific specialty tools needed to complete the job.3. Facilitates routine cross functional planning meetings with assigned business unit backlog. Coordinates upcoming maintenance work with the Project Management and Technology team to ensure access to equipment at the designated time.4. Develops, maintains, and reports on metrics relevant to the planning process, such as schedule compliance, planning accuracy.5. Develops detailed schedules and tracks progress of all maintenance and engineering work to be executed during extended shutdowns and new machine projects.Competencies1. Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft products, and a quick ability to learn new software2. Reliability to operate independently while supporting the team3. Strong problem-solving skills4. Knowledge of plant safety, environmental, and maintenance or related is a plusRequired Education and Experience1. Experience in operations, scheduling or related field; degree and/or Project Management is a plus.2. 5 years of related maintenance experience is preferred3. SAP experience ideal4. Scheduling/Dispatch experience preferred but not requiredSupervisory ResponsibilityThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a hybrid model, combining professional office (primary) and home office settings. Customer on-site visits are unlikely.Physical DemandsAn employee must meet the physical demands described here to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate. This position requires occasionally lifting office products and supplies up to 20 lbs.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Typical hours of work are business hours between 8:00am and 3:45pm Mondaythrough Friday.TravelOccasional travel is expected for this position.CompensationUp to $55K annually
