Schedule: 7:00 - 16:30 Monday -Thursday, and 8:00 - 12:00 Friday We are hiring an experienced Quality Inspector at our Durham facility to help ensure our products meet the highest levels of precision and compliance. This is a hands-on role where your contributions directly impact our quality outcomes and customer satisfaction. What you'll do at Tosoh Quartz.Compile and maintain quality recordsPrepare and submit First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)Perform general quality tasks (goods-in, visual inspection)Investigate non-conformities and support countermeasure implementationAudit quality processes throughout manufacturingOperate laser equipment and calibrate measuring toolsProvide cross-departmental support when needed What you bring.Minimum requirements: Engineering certificate and 1 year of related experience.Ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD&TProficient with measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges)Strong attention to detailBasic math proficiencyComfortable using Microsoft Office and emailAbility to communicate effectively with internal and external customersWillingness to learn and adaptExperience with micrometers, dial indicators, profilometers, optical comparators, and microscopes. Preferred 3+ years of experience as a Quality InspectorExperience with CMM and customer portal submissionsFamiliarity with compiling quality records and auditing processes
