Payroll Coordinator (Ceridian Dayforce Experience Preferred)Our rapidly growing partner, with over 800 locations across the United States, is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to support high-volume payroll operations. This role is responsible for the bi-weekly and monthly disbursement of payroll for employees, including garnishments, benefits, and taxes. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.Responsibilities:Support internal controls and operations to ensure all payroll is processed accurately and on timeMaintain knowledge of current departmental and company policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with various levels of managementInvestigate and respond to payroll-related inquiriesReview and implement employment contractsReconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepanciesComplete accurate and timely quarterly and year-end reportingRespond to employment verification requests in accordance with company policyStay up to date on federal, state, and local payroll regulationsManage workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed efficientlyProcess and calculate employee garnishments, liens, and other withholding ordersQualifications:Bachelor's degree preferredExperience with Ceridian / Dayforce strongly preferredStrong knowledge of payroll best practices, including taxation and compliance regulations4+ years of experience with an integrated HRIS/payroll systemAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience processing payroll for 5,000+ employees across multiple statesExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlinesStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work onsite in Birmingham, AL or remotelyJ-18808-Ljbffr
