This role provides hands-on exposure to quality systems, inspections, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated environment. The internship will take place in the summer of 2026 with flexibility for a May or June start time. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of products and materials.Support documentation review to ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.Help maintain and update quality records, logs, and databases.Participate in internal audits and follow-up on corrective actions (CARs/NCRs).Assist with root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.Support First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and verification (if applicable).Review and verify traceability documentation (e.g., certs, travelers, inspection reports).Help ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards and internal QMS requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Supply Chain).Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality projects.Education And Experience RequiredRising junior or senior seeking a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.), Quality Assurance or engineering, or related field.Basic understanding of:Quality concepts (inspection, documentation, compliance)Manufacturing or production environments (preferred)Familiarity with:Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic data analysisQuality tools (a plus): Pareto charts, Fishbone diagrams, 5 WhysIn-Office Work Required.Must hold a GPA 3.0 or higher.The ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role.
