Technical Engineering Project Manager

Our team collaborates across engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and operations to help more than 190 concrete manufacturers worldwide succeed with our licensed product systems.The Technical Engineering Project Manager will lead cross-departmental initiatives that drive the development and delivery of innovative equipment, systems, and technical solutions in a fast paced product development environment. You’ll coordinate cross-functional efforts between Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to ensure projects move efficiently from concept through production. This role combines strong project management discipline with technical fluency, enabling you to track complex development programs, communicate technical details across teams, and support engineering operations within a manufacturing setting. This role offers the opportunity to grow into direct engineering team leadership over time and is an onsite highly collaborative role.Key Position Responsibilities Include:Project LeadershipLead technical projects from concept through launch, ensuring timelines, scope, and deliverables are achieved. These may include new product design, user manuals, research and development projects and priorities for operational productionCoordinate work and communication across technical, operations and business teamsDevelop and maintain project tracking tools including schedules, budgets, milestones, resource allocation, and risk trackingProvide regular status updates and progress reporting to teamsTechnical CollaborationEnsure project solutions align with product strategy and customer needsProvide regular status updates and progress reporting to teamsSupport the daily operational needs of the R&D shop floor, helping prioritize work and resolve project needs.Regularly coordinate with the Senior Engineering Manager to distribute engineering tasks and monitor progress across the team.Support management and prioritization of the R&D project pipeline supporting operations initiatives.Support creation and updates to technical content Process & Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve project execution, cross-team collaboration and align stakeholders around priorities, timelines and outcomes Support innovation initiatives and help turn promising ideas into deployable solutions.Translate complex technical concepts into clear information for non-engineering stakeholders.Maintain documentation associated with the company’s patent portfolio and related technical records.Ensure project documentation and engineering records are organized and maintained.Education and Experience Requirements and Preferences Include: Bachelor degree in engineering or similar technical education in technical field Minimum of three years experience in technical project management in design or manufacturing industry Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management training.Some understanding of manufacturing processes and workflowBasic understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systemsFamiliarity with 3D modeling software (Inventor/Vault) / technical drawings/ Model structure and engineering change orders Aster Brands offers a package of forward-thinking employee benefits, including excellent health, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401k with employer match, profit sharing, paid time off, paid holidays, award-winning adoption and foster care reimbursement, partial paid family leave, product discounts, access to an onsite licensed professional counselor, and a team of innovative, driven and caring coworkers.To learn more about who we are and how we change the world in concrete ways, please visit us online at www.asterbrands.com.
