Day Cook

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring the quality and presentation meet our standards. Responsibilities - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping - Cook food in various utensils or grillers - Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served - Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen - Ensure all food and other items are stored properly - Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages Requirements - Experience in the food industry or similar role - Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures - Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks - Familiarity with industry's best practices - Culinary school diploma is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.00 - $14.89 per hour Work Location: In person
